A 40-year-old diver was attacked by a shark Tuesday, September 1, during a spearfishing trip about 30 miles offshore of Pensacola. Boat captain Jacob Johnson said the group had encountered several sharks throughout the day. During the final dive, the diver was bitten on both forearms and could not get back into the boat.
